About Us

Welcome to The Friends of the Cats of the Riverwalk. Born out of compassion and unity, our journey began in the summer of 2020 when two sister cats graced the pathways of our local park. What started as a small act of kindness, feeding these feline companions, quickly transformed into a dedicated community initiative. Today, not only do we care for a few more cats that find solace in our park, but we also extend our hands and hearts to fellow cat caretakers in the region.

Our Mission

First and foremost, we aim to provide care, love, and sustenance to the cats that call our local park and surrounding areas their home. We believe in the power of community and collaboration, and we are proud to assist other cat caregivers, ensuring no feline goes hungry or unloved. Secondly, we are staunch advocates for responsible population management. Through local Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) initiatives, we strive to ensure a sustainable, harmonious coexistence between our feline friends and the broader community. Join us in our mission to create a world where every cat is treated with compassion and respect.

How You Can Help

Every helping hand makes a profound difference. Your support can come in various forms: monetary donations aid us in our ongoing care, medical treatments, and Trap, Neuter, and Release initiatives. Beyond financial assistance, your time is invaluable. By volunteering to occasionally feed our feline friends, you directly contribute to their well-being and happiness. Join our mission and help us weave a tighter safety net for the cats that have become a cherished part of our community. Every contribution, big or small, paves the way for a brighter tomorrow for our park's whiskered residents.
